Grant Opportunities for Communities

Is your community ready to implement curbside recycling, or expand or start a new recycling program? Grant opportunities are available!
The Recycling Partnership, a national nonprofit, offers competitive grants annually to help counties, municipalities, tribes, and solid waste authorities upgrade to cart-based curbside recycling collection. Communities with 4,000 or more households can receive funding support for purchasing new carts, educational materials, and technical assistance. NRC’s Recycling Equipment Grants are quick-turnaround grants to assist with the purchase of recycling equipment for communities, businesses, schools, and organizations. Up to $15,000 in funding is available to help purchase equipment such as balers, forklifts, recycling trailers, and recycling carts, containers, or bins. Applications are accepted on a rolling schedule, and reviewed monthly. Find more information here: http://www.nrcne.org/equipment-grants
