Volunteers Needed

Callers for the Online Recycling Guide – anytime in the next 2-3 months. We need about four volunteers to spend a total of 20 hours (daytime) to call service providers on our Recycling Guide to verify and make changes to their listings. Volunteers will work from our office and receive training.

Earth Day CHaRM (Collection for Hard to Recycle Materials) Event, Saturday, April 28. We need approximately eight to ten volunteers to assist with an outdoor event being held in conjunction with Lincoln’s Earth Day event. We need helpers to unload used electronics, documents for shredding, clothing items, and batteries from vehicles over a three-hour period. Hours of the event are 9 a.m. – Noon. Volunteers will be needed from 8:30 a.m. to a little after noon. The event will be held in the parking lot at Nebraska Innovation Campus. This event is a fundraiser for the Nebraska Recycling Council.
