2022 CHaRM Event Success
To celebrate Earth Day, NRC held a CHaRM Event (Collection for Hard to Recycle Materials) in conjunction with Lincoln Earth Day at Nebraska Innovation Campus on Saturday, April 23th. We had a successful day, collecting a total of 15,982 pounds of recyclables!
Here are the amounts we collected in each category:
Batteries: 1,063.4 lbs
Documents for Shredding: 8,000 lbs
Clothing & Household Goods: 1,072 lbs
Electronics & Scrap Metal: 5846.4 lbs
We would like to extend a thank you to the City of Lincoln and our vendors, donors, hosts, and volunteers: Sadoff E-Recycling and Data Destruction, Goodwill of Lincoln, Interstate All Battery Center, DataShield Corporation, Nebraska Innovation Campus, Tetrad Property Group, and Open Harvest Co-op Grocery.
