Bridging the Gap for Organics Recovery: The world’s largest Organics Recycling Conference and Trade Show

Published February 04, 2020

COMPOST2020, U.S. Composting Council’s annual conference and trade show, happened last week in Charleston, SC and NRC staff was there for the first time to meet and learn from the best. It was an impressive four days of workshops, technical sessions, live equipment demos, and keynote presentations that hit on the most relevant issues impacting and driving the industry.

This year’s conference was the biggest one yet with 100+ exhibitors and equipment demos, an indoor trade show, 75+ workshops and sessions, and over 1,100 attendees. It was impressive and influential enough, we already have 2021 on our calendars and encourage you to join us next January in Ontario, CA. However, if you have a passion for organics recovery and advancing the industry here in Nebraska, let’s connect before then. As the Nebraska Chapter of the U.S. Composting Council, NRC is taking a leadership role in advocating for best practices in the composting industry, fair and reasonable regulations, and building the awareness of compost’s value in creating healthy soils, conserving water, and supporting local economies in our agriculture-based state. Join us as a Member, contact us about meeting with the Nebraska Compost Committee, or participate in our 4-day Compost Operations Training Course happening August 3-7th at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with USCC (registration coming soon).
