The Nebraska Recycling Council is hiring two part-time interns to take part in the NRC
Early Career Professionals Program!

These internships will provide rewarding work experience in sustainable materials management and general professional development, assisting with ongoing grant projects and public education. Work is available during the upcoming spring, summer, and fall semesters of 2024.

Communications and Outreach Internship

Seeking an intern with experience in communications, social media and video content development. This individual must be a strong communicator in person, writing, and on the phone. To succeed in this role you must be creative, positive, organized, outgoing, and respectful.

Hours and Benefits

$15/hour, 380 total hours of work available. Averaging around 10-15 hours per week.

Responsibilities

ArcGIS and Data Management Internship

Seeking an intern with experience in ArcGIS programs and data management. Strong communication in, writing, and on the phone is required. To succeed in this role you must be positive, organized, and have a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

This position will assist with the Municipal Toolkit project by supporting the Program
Director with ArcGIS mapping, data management, research, note taking and general project assistance. You will contribute to the production of resources to be distributed to all Nebraska municipalities.
