LR 163 proposed an interim study to examine opportunities that increase recycling of municipal solid waste while also facilitating economic development and growth. As part of this interim study, Senator Hughes’ office asked for input from industry stakeholders. Nebraska Recycling Council developed a survey to collect this data. If you haven’t already, please complete the anonymous survey by Nov 10th to help influence future legislation.
Before taking the survey it may be useful to consider LB 1101 and the LB 1101 report, Extended Producer Responsibility, EPR in Colorado, hazardous waste, NDEE programs and grants, and any suggestions you have that would improve recycling in Nebraska.
