Nov 14 – Recycle a Cycle for the Holidays

Help celebrate America Recycles Day. The Lincoln Bike Kitchen and Lincoln Public Schools are teaming up to celebrate the occasion. Donate a gently used bike you or your child have outgrown – we will refurbish it and distribute it to youth in the Lincoln area who are in need of a bike for the holidays.

Drop off Event:
Thursday, November 14 from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
Lincoln Bike Kitchen, 1635 S. 1st Street (just over the A St. Bridge)

If you can’t make the event you can still donate through December 19 on Mondays 5:00-8:00 p.m. and Sundays 12:00-3:00 p.m.

  • Donate your gently used bikes and helmets. No rusty bikes, please!
  • Youth bikes up to 24” are needed. Smaller step-through 26” bikes are also in demand.
  • No bikes to donate but you want to help? Consider volunteering or a financial donation to be used for tools, locks, and helmets.

What better way to recycle and keep Lincoln on two wheels?!?
