LINCOLN, NEBR. – The Nebraska Recycling Council (NRC) held its Annual Conference on Tuesday, September 19th. This event recognizes the accomplishments of member organizations and provides learning and networking opportunities for resource management professionals.

Rachel Bookman with the Institute of Scrap Recycling discussed how to use common language to communicate the value of the recycled materials industry. Attendees learned just how much the average individual depends on the essential work of recycling professionals. The luncheon inspired everyone to use plainspoken, positive, and personal language when interacting with the public.
